Glory Kilanko, Founder and Executive Director of Women Watch Afrika joined several individuals to speak at the Press Conference at the Capitol on the Need for Tuition Equity for All February 27, 2020.
Immigrant community organizations and DREAMERs collectively support in-state tuition equity measures to make college more affordable for DREAMERs and Immigrant Students. Georgia is one of only three states that explicitly prohibits in-state tuition rates for undocumented students. Advocates view the in-state tuition bills introduced in the Georgia State House of Representatives as a critical step in the right direction for Georgia.

We definitely need to fight for college tuition equity in Georgia. Such an unfair legislative treatment is inexcusable! We should help our people get an education–not hinder them with obstacles!
