Happy International Day of the Girl Child! International Day of the Girl Child is an international observance day declared by the United Nations. It is observed yearly on October 11, and the observation supports more opportunity for girls and increases awareness of the inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender. It is a day that celebrate girls everywhere, amplifying their voices, actions, and leadership. Additionally, it is a day to advocate for and recognize girls’ rights.
The Day is also called the Day of Girls & the International Day of the Girl.
Today, make sure you share out empowering messages about young ladies and speak up about the inequalities you see, the world will be a better place when we can eliminate gender inequality.
