Go Vote Georgia! Public Service Commission (PSC) Primary

May 28, 2025 by Women Watch Afrika

Go Vote Georgia! Public Service Commission (PSC) Primary

Early Voting has started!

Early voting runs from May 27th to June 13th

Voting is very important at all levels, especially in local elections for mayors, sheriffs, city council-members, judges, and PSC as this is where we can effect change and accountability.

The PSC regulates Electric, Gas, Telecommunications, and Intrastate Transportation companies. Its five elected commissioners set utility rates and decide who pays for infrastructure projects and cleanup costs, customers or utility companies. If an electric utility company wants to build more plants, it must get PSC approval.

The PSC’s decisions directly impact your MONTHLY BILLS.
