Martin Luther King Jr. Day Call to Action: John Lewis Voting Rights Act

January 17, 2022 by Preye Cobham, Esq. Leave a Comment

Day of Remembrance, Awareness, and Service.

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and this year, it is taking place in the midst of the fight to protect the right to vote. Dr. King fought for the right to vote (“Give Us The Ballot”) and it is more important than ever that everyone’s right to vote be protected.

The passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act will set federal protections in place to ensure our communities’ voices are heard in the upcoming elections and beyond. This is the goal. This is our Call to Action. 🚨 Call your Legislators 🚨
The struggle continues. #MLKJr #MLK #MLKDay2022
