Recruitment for Poll Workers in Georgia

September 1, 2022 by Women Watch Afrika

🚨REMINDER!!
Recruitment for poll workers for Georgia’s November election has started:
It’s that time again– time for recruitment of poll workers to ensure our elections run smoothly and efficiently.

Women Watch Afrika is partnering up to mobilize as many people as possible to sign up as poll workers.

As a poll worker, you can help ensure a fair, efficient, and safe election for all voters. Additionally, as a Poll worker you can support the effectiveness of early voting locations, ensure technology functions are working as they should, and can help minimize delays at polling places on election day.

As we all know, Poll worker shortages can cause long lines and lead to polling location closures, and these can lead to voter disenfranchisement, especially in low income communities and in communities of color.
