Happy Earth Day!

April 22, 2022 by Preye Cobham, Esq.

Happy Earth Day!

Today is Earth Day and the theme this year is “Invest In Your Planet”

What is Earth Day? Earth Day is a worldwide environmental movement that takes place every year on April 22nd. The goal in celebrating this day is to raise awareness about sustainability, clean living, global warming, and deforestation; and to educate people on the importance of preserving our planet.

How can you participate? Here are some examples:
1. Gather friends and family and do a community clean up e.g. go to a park and help clean up garbage you find.
2. Go on a hike or nature walk
3. You can transition to reusable grocery bags
4. Save electricity by turning off lights when not being used
5. You can transition to reusable water bottles
6. Plant a herb garden or your favorite plant
