Another Anti-Voting Bill! STOP SB 241!!
SB 241, a bill that: Repeals NO-EXCUSE vote by mail, Creates a new “fraud” hotline to cause voter intimidation, Adds new ID provisions that could be a burden to over 200,000 registered Georgia Voters, and would Cost counties and taxpayers over $28 million in the next election cycle
This is one of the WORST anti-voting bills in the nation.
Our democracy works best when all eligible voters can participate and have their voices heard. In the General Election 1.3 million Georgians used absentee ballots, resulting in historic voter turnout. No excuse absentee voting provided an opportunity to level the playing field and make voting safer for ALL Georgians, especially in the midst of this coronavirus Pandemic.
Tell your Senators that you oppose all voter suppression attempts and ask them to support your right to vote.
Our goal should be the protection of the fundamental right to vote for ALL citizens by assuring that voting is as easy and as convenient as possible.
STOP SB 241 NOW BY CALLING & EMAILING these Senators to ask that they vote NO!
