Women Watch Afrika Mourns the Loss of Two TITANS in the Fight for Racial Justice and Civil Rights

July 18, 2020 by Preye Cobham, Esq.

On Saturday July 18, 2020 the world suffered two great losses with the deaths Rev. C.T. Vivian and Congressman John Lewis.  These men were two Giants in the fight for Civil Rights and Racial Justice.  They were and are ICONS and beloved civil rights veterans who marched alongside the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.  Both Rev. C.T. Vivian and Congressman John Lewis were recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom (which President Barack Obama awarded them).  Local to the Atlanta area, both men were men of integrity, dedication, and wisdom.  They will be missed.  And their work and fight shall live on and continue.  Rest in Peace.
