Today is the first of May, also known as May Day internationally. May Day is recognized as the International Day of the Worker. So today, we acknowledge the day and uplift all workers.
Currently, the South is especially vulnerable as the state Governors rush to reopen the Southern States without care of the health of individuals and the still very real dangers of COVID-19. Said Governors have chosen to place Profit over the Health and Lives of People.
Women Watch Afrika disagrees with the rush to reopen the state of Georgia (and all other Southern States) against the recommendations of proper health experts. Join us in standing up for Lives and Health Over Profit and to uplift workers on this May Day.
ACTION ALERT!
Sign the Petition below to let Southern governors known you disagree with their rush to reopen states, they are putting profit over the health and lives of their residents! #HealthOverProfit
